Managing Long Posts

I've caught a few threads dealing with longer posts--showing the first few lines and then including a link to open the entire entry--for folks using blogger, but I need advice on how to accomplish this with TypePad. Cheers.

If you search for 'extended posts' in the typepad help database they should give you step by step instructions to do this.

Either that, or you can create a help ticket and a tech should help you throught it. :)

On the new post screen, there's a small text link to "customize the display of this page"--or something like that. That gives you a list of options, including something like "extended post" (can you tell I am doing this from memory?)

Once you select that option, you'll have two areas to enter your post--the first is what shows on the front page, ther second is what's after the jump.

This feature may not be available to the 'lowest' level of TypePad membership...at least, it wasn't when I started my blog...
