Scoopt Words

Thanks to Kayln's link below, I found a new-to-me site called Scoopt Words which offers bloggers an opportunity to sign up and potentially sell content from their blogs to mainstream media. (They work in conjunction with Creative Commons licenses.) Has anyone used this service yet and if so, what was your experience? Thanks!

There are several of these services operating now. I'd advise reading the fine print very closely. I've done so and haven't seen anything to convince me to sign up. For more on Scoopt, look here:

Shame you don't want to sign up William :) I started out (and continue to blog) as a foodblogger and now I work on ScooptWords.

I think we offer a decent service, we're getting heaps of interest. And as opposed to some of our competitors if we sell/syndicate your stuff you get paid...

BTW - I will be approaching fooodbloggers next week specifically because we don't have enough signed up yet and I want to package and promote the best to food editors in the MSM. The interest is there.
