[adsense] Blacklist

Anyone used this? It's a list of sites to blacklist in your google adsense account that apparently increases the revenue. It came from top blog ProBlogger so I am sure it fine; just wondered if anyone had success with it.

Actually its a brand new service that appears to generate a list of sites to ban from displaying adverts (they drop the click amounts or something) depending on the keywords you put in.

It also takes a day to kick in... cant say I've seen much change yet.

I went there and put in my keywords. Only three sites came up. I blocked them, but none of them were sites I've ever seen ads for. We'll see if anything happens.

You get three sites if you are unregistered. If you register, you get 200 sites. I agree with Andrew, I'm not sure how much difference it makes anyway.

Thanks Anthony. I registered and got the list of 200 sites. One problem I had was that I had already blocked a few weird sites that kept showing up on my ads. I didn't know that adsense will only let you filter 200 sites, so when I copied in the list of 200 I had to remove some. It resorted the list in alphabetical order, so I may have accidentally removed some that I had manually added. Just a tip for anyone else who tries it. We'll see what happens.

I tried it as well. My revenue has gone DOWN, but I think it always does Thanksgiving week. Although you'd think more people would be cooking...

Just for the information of anyone who stumbles on this, after I week I removed the list of generated sites from my adsense list of blocked sites. My revenue seemed to have gone slightly down, or at least it certainly didn't go up. I mostly didn't like that it used all the 200 slots so if I saw an ad pop up that I really wanted to block, I had to remove one of those anyway. I"m not sure of the value of it.
