They are saying that users may migrate to Beta even if a team blog they did not create is on their dashboard.

If it makes any of you feel better, I made the switch with zero issues (other than having to ask Sam to remove me from FBS, which I am still sad about). Although, prior to switching I set up a test blog on beta with my gmail account, then cut and pasted my template there to test it. And when I switched, my old blog ended up on the same dashboard as my test blog, since I used the same gmail account.

For those of you that do have the invite, keep trying to switch and I bet eventually it will work. Since they just made the change that Cate mentioned in her post, there might be a bit of lag time.

I really really really love the Beta. Instantaneous publishing is amazing (no more little spinning thing), as are the labels, which are great for readers, and adding images is much faster. I also like being able to go to my blog and sign in using the nav bar on the top. If anyone has any questions about Beta, let me know.

Wow, I just wrote a book.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-1165899700713086052006-12-11T21:01:00.000-08:002006-12-11T21:01:00.000-08:00AArrrgh my head is HURTINGbut still this blog can ...AArrrgh my head is HURTING

but still this blog can NOT switch because we don't have the inviteSamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07081680210434938456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-1165893904454315022006-12-11T19:25:00.000-08:002006-12-11T19:25:00.000-08:00Hi all. I still get a message saying I can't switch to beat because of my FBS membership when I click on the "switch over" link. I'm not itching like crazy to make the switch, but I think that it should work if the Beta Blogger folks are saying it will work. So, have you all been able to switch?Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02806044628624933477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-1165893189913817842006-12-11T19:13:00.000-08:002006-12-11T19:13:00.000-08:00Sam, this morning I was sitting at my computer. Suddenly that little message popped up "can not connect to Blogger.com, saving or publishing may fail". Luckily I had saved an html copy of the post or I might have screamed even louder.

Anyway, thats a long way of saying, I don't care if they say it's perfect, I'm scared to switch!Kalyn Dennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02499065771517548587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-1165892644684008042006-12-11T19:04:00.000-08:002006-12-11T19:04:00.000-08:00Back up a minute here.So basically what they are s...Back up a minute here.

So basically what they are saying is that Sam can move FBS to Beta, then we all open Beta accounts (and/or switch our blogs over to Beta as well) and then resubscribe?

Did I miss anything?

Somebody get Blogger Help on the line...Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17507211003796469333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-1165892169406541922006-12-11T18:56:00.000-08:002006-12-11T18:56:00.000-08:00It's all still theoretical as far as I can see. I finally got "permission" to switch to Beta a few days ago, but couldn't complete it, apparently because of S'cool.
And even today, after they've said team blog members shouldn't be affected, I still couldn't switch.
{Sits quietly, rocking, sucking thumb.}cookiecrumbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00741894180391507513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-1165888903843133062006-12-11T18:01:00.000-08:002006-12-11T18:01:00.000-08:00I am getting confused. I thought this was saying the opposite - we keep this blog non-beta as long as possible and the members who migrate to beta will no longer have to be unsuscribed and they will still be able to post to this blog?Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07081680210434938456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-1165882694849014432006-12-11T16:18:00.000-08:002006-12-11T16:18:00.000-08:00At least it looks like help might be on the way. ...At least it looks like help might be on the way. ;)Catehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15301210229326791245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-1165878320750832712006-12-11T15:05:00.000-08:002006-12-11T15:05:00.000-08:00but I would add that this blog has still not yet b...but I would add that this blog has still not yet been invited or given the chance to migrate, unless i am missing a detail somewhere.Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07081680210434938456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-1165878279444493342006-12-11T15:04:00.000-08:002006-12-11T15:04:00.000-08:00thank you CateI think this explains it even bette...thank you Cate

I think this explains it even better.
