If your blog allows pingbacks, the link to your blog on the linkspam page will place a link to it on your blog (I hope this is making sense.)

I've had to deal with a few of these pingbacks in the recent past. Whenever I ascertain that their page is just a junk page and if it has "Adsense" on it, I remove their pingback from my site and report them to Adsense as probable spammers.

I doubt that it's bad for us to be on these linkspam pages. I just like to make sure that the spammers aren't gaining anything from me....Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08818302133113874649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-89780360286080255642008-03-17T09:09:00.000-07:002008-03-17T09:09:00.000-07:00I haven't seen the page, based on the info you gav...I haven't seen the page, based on the info you gave us.

But basically, anyone can link to your blog and there's nothing you can do about it.

If you're noticing a lot of click throughs, maybe investigate, but how it can be bad for you is beyond me at the moment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12044784.post-67051517191285514882008-03-17T05:41:00.000-07:002008-03-17T05:41:00.000-07:00Link spam ... that sounds right ... can someone ex...Link spam ... that sounds right ... can someone explain to me how it works and what the spammers get out of it?
