This morning I was posting on EatStuff for the cat blogging and clicked on my url and some other stuff popped up there. Has this happened to anyone else and how do I prevent it? I was lucky it wan't porn or something disgusting but it is frustrating!

What? it kind of sounds like you are just talking about seeing a pop-up.
ReplyDeleteJust went to your blog- it doesn't look hacked.
?
looks fine to me too
ReplyDeleteNo What Vickie means is that someone posted a comment on eatstuff with her name, email address and blog address and then told people to go to the .net version of her address as the real version was weird. It was very very weird. The other interesting thing was that it bypassed my comment spam protection too.. so be careful!
ReplyDeletethat makes alot more sense.
ReplyDeleteAs far as spam goes- its a really interesting method. I've wondered when this style would hit as all the typical comment sign-ins to include a url have no way of checking if it is actually your url!
I'm not surprised it passed your spam protection.
