In the post below, darell asked if there is an easy way to create polls in your blog. I just found a site called blogpoll that allows you to create your own polls - I am testing it out here:

You know, one v. interesting thing about this poll is that it seems you could post the poll in 1+ places on the web and gather the info in a central location - ie., I put this poll on my blog and this blog.
very cool -- thanks for the help and yeah i also think it's neat that you could post the poll in more than one location, but keep the results aligned.
cheers,
darell
wow - thank you!
i predict an explosion of food blog polls
Oh fun!
At the same time it could be confusing to some people who see the *identical* poll somewhere else, vote there, and then get to interact with the poll a second time. I'm not sure the value is greater than the possible confusion to users. I am probably missing something here.
I know what you are saying, sweets. But there is an option when you create the poll that says "only allow one answer from one ip" -- I don't know how well this does across blogs (I would assume that it does fine as it is only gathering the data in a central location for each blog poll), but it may allay your concerns.
Wrong place for this comment I know :-)
Just came across your comment on the blog bakingSheet - "Easy Chocolate Fudge", where you had mentioned that you knew how to make Fudge the original way.
I was wondering if you could gimmie the recipe for it.
rohan... specifiy who the "you" is in your request- especially since you are posting in the wrong place.
I recommend you go back to baking sheet and go to the comment author's website.
About the poll...
for all the control freaks in the house... this blog poll site lets you specify the size and colors of your resulting blog poll box. Pretty fun!
*laugh* I finally took advantage of this. It is kind of fun!
