[Stats] Can I look at stats from the past?

I use (the free version of) Statcounter. Only I don't look at it with much frequency. Once in awhile I will check in and notice a day (in the past) with a huge spike in visits. Is there a way to look at that day and see where people were coming from? Im always curious.

Thanks.

Nope.

Statcounter isn't really flexible about giving daily snapshots in the past, even when you pay for a larger log size than the free 500 one.

Maybe someone else can pipe up about Google Analytics or Pmetrics. I use my daily stats feature from my webhost (though that's not really accurate because it logs hits that aren't actually page loads).

I use Webstat (paid) and it allows me to look at a specific day.

I had that last week - I hadn't checked my stats for weeks and when I went I looked I saw a huge spike. After I thought about it for a bit I realised it coincided with the arrival of a certain British Footballing/Pop-Singing couple in LA and I guess that the spike may well have been caused by people googling for news of them not me.

I use Google Analytics. It's free and provides very detailed stats for any date or range of dates you choose.

I tried google anylitics but it doesnt show me anything. I must be doing somethig wrong - maybe I should try again - or make this the subject of a separate post.

I tried Google too, made no sense to me. I like Statcounter minus this fact...

I use Google Analytics for 2 months+ ,it works fine in English and Hebrew ,even I liked better the old Analytics version, the fresh new one is even better.I think it can help me now and in the future to improve my Blog (you can check statistics from the day you've installed the code in your template, and having a Gmail account makes it easy to have a Google Analytics accounts in minutes ) :-)
