Hi, I just discovered the issue yesterday and the solution today so I thought I'd write in if it's any help.
My blog is non-beta, I haven't switched over yet. The blogs I wanted to comment in suddenly began rejecting my comments saying "Could not log you in. Double check or try later." Below it says 'No Google account? Sign up here' and 'You can also use your blogger account" but that is not a link. Then today, it struck me that I could try using my gmail ID - and it worked. But I still need to use my Blogger ID and password to get into blogger - the gmail ID didn't work.

Thank you! I've been having the same problem.
I had the same thing happen to me. It rejected my gmail login (I have one beta blog and one non-beta blog) so I'm still not sure what's up there.
Ok, here's an update 8 hours after I wrote that post - it did the same thing to me just now a couple of times but righted itself the third time. Could it be the system we're working with - the earlier comments were made on a different computer and the current one on another - could it be the kind of Internet connection that has a bearing on this?
PS: If it hadn't righted itself, it would have meant that we'd have to sign up afresh with our gmail ID in every blog that we wanted to comment on - that's what happened earlier, it wasn't satisfied with the initial sign-up after which our blogger display name stays on in the rest of the blogs. But anyway, this is just to document what happened. I'm glad it's okay and hope it stays that way!
I finally got my comment up, using my gmail acct, but it took 3 tries. Weird and a total hassle and a half.
This is a whole lot of irritating ?XOO!!""=!!
I have tried my Google account login several times but still am unable to post any comments on some blogs. What is this?
I've been having problems leaving comments on beta blogger accounts. I thought it might be somethig to do with if I'm logged on to my gmail I'm not logged into Blogger because sometimes I can leave a comment and sometines not. Blogger keeps telling me I need to make my blogger profile accessible. It is. I thought Blogger was just being anti to Typepad bloggers.
Using sitemeter I've noticed people going to the comment link on some of my posts but no comment gets entered. Many times they would be the first to comment. I thought it was a strange thing to do but this might explain it.
I've just been reading a few threads in the Google Blogger Help Group:
http://groups.google.com/group/blogger-help
it seems there are many experiencing this and no solution has been found as yet. It all seems random.
Some can some cannot. Some can sometimes ... you get it.
I am one who cannot leave any comments on the Beta Blogs.
Pain!
Even more of a pain. Now I can leave comments if I use my gmail log in, but because my gmail name is kalyns.kitchen, my comments show up as "kalyns said" and then it doesn't link to a profile or to my blog either. I hate this.
OK folks last night I put up a message in the Google Blogger help group asking what was goign on. I got a reply from the Blogger Employee. Here is the thread.

As you can see we are not alone. It seems to be a "known issue". We have to live with it for the time being. Maybe we can post a post on our own blogs informing our readers about these issues.
What do you think? It is a bit frustrating because I am not getting many comments and I cannot leave any on other blogs.
The latest glitch is that I'm not able to access the comments space of beta bloggers!!! And some blogs don't open, I get a message from WebSense saying "your organisation prohibits ... at the point of time, blah blah ..." I am going to post a message telling readers about the situation.
I've discovered a solution that's solving my problem of the weird signature when I use my gmail account. If I click the 'other' button, then type in my name and web address, I can leave a comment that says "kalyn" and links to my site. For now I can live with that, but I hope they fix it. This doesn't make me want to switch to Beta at all.
I've been having that same problem. There are a few ways around it until they figure out how to fix it. I can sign in with my gmail account, or I put my info in the actual comment and then choose anonymous.
Thanks for the nice blog. It was very helpful for me. Maintain sharing such ideas sooner or later as well. This was actually what I used to be looking for, and I am glad to got here right here! Thanks for sharing the such info with us.
