I was just thinking today that I've been spam-free for about a week.
I have askimet and it usually asks me to review three or four a day ... but nothing lately.
(And it hasn't held anything that wasn't spam either.)
I was seeing quite a bit for a while, but it was limited to a few posts that I figured had been "flagged" by the bots. I closed comments on those and haven't seen anything since.
Lot's Russian spams and many requests to recieve millions of dollars from the Cote D'Ivoire. Somehow being made a Blog o' Note put me on the map for these guys :(
My stream of spam has been solid for years. It's between 1800 & 2400 in 2 weeks. MT's built in spam filters get 99% of it. Mebbe 1 or 2 per month get through and I have to manually delete it.
Got some creepy ones too. Where the bot snatches a sentance or two from my post, crazy.
