I notice some food bloggers (who use Blogger) have a link in their navigational bar that says "E-Mail Me," or something similar where people can click on it, and it will open up an e-mail to send to the blog author. I can't figure out how to do that. Help?

Once you logged in to Blogger, go to Settings => Basics
Then, at the bottom of the page, you'll see: "Show Email Post links?"
Select "yes" and republish.
That's it!

I have this in my template which does what I think you are looking for? I am not sure about Estelle's suggestion, I will have to check it out. The h6 thing I think is to do with the size of the type but to be honest I have never really worked this out properly.
PS
Thanks to the great tip in the earlier [Comments] Using HTML code when leaving comments post, I am able to show the html code in a comment.

PPS - Are blogger comments doing whacky things for anyone else apart from me today?
Yup, Sam, that's it. Thanks! Now how to make the text bigger?
Comments are completely whacked!
H6 = header 6 which is usually defined in a style sheet somewhere. to make your text size larger try H1 or H2 - generally speaking the lower the number the bigger the font, although that depends on how you defined your headers!
I think it is my fault the comments are whacked. I think i know why - i was trying something out on the site and didnt work. I will try and fix it.
ok - comments should be unwhacked again now.
Much better! :-)
A comment on the mailto comment.
Though you can do this, it's easily scrapeable by automated programs that crawl websites looking for email addresses to add to their spam lists.
I write out the same block with a piece of JavaScript: (enclose inside a <script language="JavaScript">...</script> tag)
document.write("<a href=\"mailto:" + "derrick" + "." + "schneider" + "@" + "gmail.com\">" +
"derrick" + "." + "schneider" + "@" + "gmail.com</a>");
(wow, that was fun to type. hope it renders....)
I'll try posting again... (there was a typo in the coding)
You can also use character entities to foil the email mining bots.
using character entities
Bear in mind that some browsers do not have their "mailto" set up. (Mine doesn't) And some don't have javascript enabled so Derrick's excellent coding suggestion would not show up at all. You could use an image to display your e-mail address in the noscript section of the coding.
code:
................................
<script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript">
document.write("<a href=\"mailto:" + "becks" + "." + "posh" + "@" + "gmail" + "." + "com\">" +
"becks" + "." + "posh" "@" + "gmail" + "." + "com<\/a>");
</script>
<noscript>
<img src="emailaddress.gif" width="60" height="30" alt="becks.posh@gmail.com" >
</noscript>
.................................
Note that the character entities method can be used on the alt tag for the image, just in case you are trying to make sure your site is accessible to blind people as well.
(I sure hope that this worked!! Derrick, you weren't just whistling Dixie when you mentioned the fun typing!)
OR
you could try
<a href="mailto:becks.PLEASEposh@REMOVEgGARBAGEmail.com">Email Us!</a>

P.S. Could you please add the code tag to the allowed HTML tags in your comments?
(Hmmm, preview doesn't work? Or is it just me?)
However, because of the high prices which these cheap louis vuitton handbags
