Hey, can anyone tell me if my website is showing up strange on a PC? It's fine here on my trusty Mac, with Firefox. But when I checked it at work today, all the links, my profile, and the extra stuff was shoved down to the bottom. We've been having issues at work, so it could be that. But if not,
then can someone tell me why?!
Thanks, y'all.

I can see it fine on my linux box in mozilla, but:
the cauliflower picture is wider than the main post body width which is the kind of error, in my experience, that causes problems and pushes the blog roll column down the page in some browsers.
try resizing the display of that cauliflowe picture to something less than 400 in width and it might solve the problem.
Hi Shauna,
I have a PC and also have Internet Explorer and Firefox both. It's an IE issue because on my computer it looks great in Forefox but in IE the sidebar is pushed down like you said. Sam is exactly right about the cause of the problem. I have found that even 400 wide can do it. IE seems to be really touchy on size. Sometimes even under 400 can do it if you choose the large size on blogger when you post. Usually if you make the picture 385 or smaller it is not a problem. (I went through this for weeks before I found out what pictures were causing it. You can find out by clicking on them one at a time in previous posts and watching what happens.
uh huh, what Kalyn said...Firefox is fine, IE is not... except that the picture is only 374 px wide so that's odd...
Arrgh is right. Right now I have my latest post creating a tiny white line down the center of my blog on IE. The photo is only 375, and it even did it when I took the photo out completely. I looked at the html and don't see anything (not that I know much about it, but there was nothing obvious.) I HATE internet explorer, but most people still use it.

Thank you. I never would have thought of that. And there I was, enjoying the size of that photo. I wish everyone in the world used Firefox. Sigh.
I fixed it. Let me know if it's better now.
I love Food Blog S'Cool. I would have been languishing for weeks with that, annoyed and confused. I really love you all.
I have IE, and the change in the size of the cauliflower photo has fixed the problem.
The specific problem is, as everyone poited out, photo width. However, it's not necessarily a "problem" with IE. Several of the W3C specifications on things like margins aren't as specific as they could be which means they're subject to interpretation by the browser.
well - i have to than NS (above) cos I think it was him who suggested something similar in the first plac on Food Blog Scool
thanks NS!
I'm having the same problem with mine and assume it has something to do with the WDB round-up I posted yesterday. Off to read the comments and see if I can correct it.
OK, went through all my pictures posted for October and made all the widths 220 (a few 200), and that hasn't fixed the problem. Any other ideas?
Shauna, sorry for the hijack, but I figure since your problem was fixed, I could steal the brain power around here. ;)
