Making a full feed a half feed
I have a question that I think is impossible to solve but it is worth asking in case someone knows a solution. I use the short rss feed on my Blogger blog because of constant content theft but I would like be able to make a longer rss feed that is not a full feed. So now I wonder if there is some kind of html code I could put in the text that would cut a full feed into a half? Or some other way maybe?

Linking to a section of a post
I hope I can do a good job of explaining this. I am looking for a way to link to a certain section of a post. It is probably best explained with an example.
A little while ago I wrote a post describing and explaining Indian Spices. It is a long post and I would now like to use this as a reference for my future posts. So, say I am writing about a recipe which contains turmeric powder, I would link to be able to link to my Indian Spice post and have the particular section where I described Turmeric Powder come up. Currently when I link to the post it simply does the usual and brings the reader to the beginning of the post leaving them to scroll down to find the entry about the particular spice. Not comfortable.
(did that make sense?)
I often see this on pages like FAQs etc.
So I was wondering if there is a special code or a way to do this and if anyone can talk me through it.

[Layout] Banner Positions
Hi everyone.
I've been wanting to add a second sidebar to my layout for a long time now. I finally managed to do this by widening the entire content wrapper and inserting the second sidebar. My issue at the moment is with the banner and how it is displayed on different browsers and on different sized screens.
After widening the entire content wrapper I needed to get the banner to fit across the page too. However I was having trouble with this as each browser (Safari, Firefox, IE) rendered it differently. So I made the banner shorter and got it to look good in IE.
If you look at my test in IE:
http://test-wflh.blogspot.com/
You will see it looks OK (this time I worked to make it look good on IE first as I always have trouble with this gem of a browser). So, guess what? When viewed in Safari or Firefox the banner does not render itself properly. If I move it more to the right so that it looks good in Firefox/Safari then on IE it is pushed off the screen.
Is there a way to get the banner to render itself correctly on all three? Ideally I'd like to have my to fit aligned to the borders of the content wrapper for the browsers and also for different sized screens. Is there a certain piece of code for this?
Thanks in advance!

[Typepad] [Firefox] Bits of my blog not responding
I'm currently going through a redesign of my blog and have found that when I look at my site in Firefox the top third of the blog, including the top two google ads, the top few links in the post and everything above the odeo & itunes buttons are dead.
However, if I look at the same thing in Internet Explorer or Safari I have no such problem.
Could anyone tell me what the problem might be please. I am testing this all out before launching on my main site so you can find the problem I'm referring to here at Silverbrow on Food - New Logo. I think it must have something to do with my CSS or HTML but for the life of me can't figure it out.
Many thanks in advance.
