Newbie Bloggers Book Resource...

and great for us skilled bloggers. I highly recommend reading Aliza Sherman Risdahl's "The Everything Blogging Book". This is an excellent resource for new bloggers. It is packed with great information on choosing a blog editor, posting, rss feeds, and great information on copyrighting.

Tery,

Interesting to hear that you like Aliza's book. I've been less than impressed with her stuff in the past as it's mostly seemed like a mashup of anecdotes without much point. Does this one have a lot of stories of other people's 'how/why I blog' or is it actual data?

Or maybe I'm just still annoyed from the days when Webgrrl was sold to her boyfriend, who then slagged all the women who worked so hard to make it a vital organization and then there was the corporation and...oh never mind...

So you like the book, huh? grin

Knowing Aliza, being one of my dearest friends and she does blog from time to time for Daily Eats, I have to say this is truly one of her better books. It is more of a "how to" for newbies and give some great information everything you need to know to start blogging. Not that many personal stories more about great information.

It's too bad about what happened with webgrrls, she worked really hard to make that organization come to life. Though I wasn't never a member I supported her efforts whole heartedly. It was a difficult decision for her to make.

btw love your blog!
