Happy Birthday Food Blog S'cool

A year ago, on this date, I started Food Blog S'cool on a whim. I can't believe how much it has grown in the last year. I want to thank you all, pupils and teachers, for being a part of this community and for being generous with your time and knowledge.

We have another bunch of new pupils, today. Since my feelings were hurt last time by the potential pupil who didn't want to risk becoming a rutabaga, I couldn't help but have a silly joke with myself by making the next class be Swedes. Swedes, in case you don't know, is what the English call rutabaga.

Rutabaga, Swedes, whatever, please give a hearty welcome to all our new pupils...

Oh Sam! Surely my silliness didn't hurt your feelings? I, for one, couldn't stop giggling when I read your post! But I concede. Even if it means becoming a frumpy old Swede, I'll sign up now. This is what happens when you try to beat the system ... : )

Happy Birthday! I love this site and am proud to be a "student" (and I'm still proud of my rutabaga status). Thanks for all the hard work!
