[blogger] word verification?

Whenever I visit someone else's blog the word verification isn't showing so I can't leave comments anywhere. Anyone else having similar problems? I am logged in through my Becks & Posh gmail account as usual.

Are you using some sort of ad blocking plug in on your browser? It could be that your browser is refusing to show images that are not hosted by the same domain (Because it thinks they're ads).

I've noticed the same thing happening. I go in to the AdBlock on Firefox extension and click "whitelist this whole page".

Sometimes there are no letters to type in so I type my comment, hit submit and it comes back with letters which I can then type in. This often happens on Ms Cellania.

I have been having the same issue sporadically, Sam, in the past few days. And I can't figure out a way to get around it.

A reader just wrote and told me that she's having this problem. I told her to try what I do--hit publish and wait for it to refresh--but she said she's tried over and over and there are never any letters.

It's been happening to me last night and today. Someone told me that when that happens you can click the handicap icon and it will speak the letters for you to type, but I haven't tried it.

Ok, I lied. I just tried it on that comment. It was a bit surreal, the numbers they gave me didn't match the word verification letters at all, but it worked.

That happened to me yesterday - using safari on the mac I couldn't see the word verification text but using explorer on a pc I could.

A couple days ago I had the same trouble trying to leave a comment on eggbeater, but when I went back later, it was fine. The symptoms were the same on IE and firefox.

And the handicap feature didn't work, either.

yes! the same thing happens to me sometimes -- quite randomly. i've tried it to allow it to refresh & at times that'll work, othertimes not. i can't seem to find a pattern to this occurance. file this under "things that make you go hmmmmmm"

It just happened to me and my usual method didn't work this time.

I've had the letters not show up before too. Usually what I do is type a few random letters and hit submit, it will refresh the letters and I can see them (sometimes it takes 2-3 tries, but it does end up working).

This happened to me on and off for about a week, using both Firefox and IE. In place of the normal jumble of letters was a box saying "visual verification". I tried the wheelchair icon (yes, with my speakers ON) -- no audio clue.

Only thing that solved the problem -- temporarily -- was rebooting.

I solved it by rebooting and resigning into blogger.

With vivid designs following classical traditions, Tiffany are really attractive in Tiffany bracelets world. And now, go there together and enjoy some of them. The thick bracelets with bone-looking shape, made of silver, can bring about some special feeling for the wearer. silver bracelets formed by pink crystal pearls really makes gentle beauty with romance. Tiffany accessories is the very one for pretty girls with fascinating dreams for true love.

Crisp Audio and Video Guides: Just like having a piano teacher sitting in front of you, a piano lesson on IT TAKES A THIEF comes with audio and video guides to help you learn the songs you want to play in IT TAKES A THIEF DVD . The beauty of using this method is that you can replay the videos over and over again as many times as you like until you perfect IT TAKES A THIEF DVD COLLECTION yourself. You'd drive your piano teacher nuts if you asked them to do this for you. And you would be lucky to get one example out of them, rather than as many times as you may need.
