Feedflare/Tags Help

Hi all,

This is a followup to my previous post:

I have begun to add the tags/feedburner stuff to my blog but whenever I click on say, Del.icio.us , it would not immediately put my blog post's permalink and title in the respective fields. Instead this turns out:

This is the code I used:
Del.icio.us

I've also tried uing the instructions Feedburner provided but to no avail.

Can anyone help a frustrated and lost fellow blogger out?

There is a place in the feedburner code where you have to remove the generic feedburner url (which is what you see showing up on now) and replace it with the specific feed url of your blog. It looks to me like you didn't replace that with your own code when you inserted the code in your template.

You can get your feed url from your Feedburner home page.

ARGhhh. I meant to say "which is what you see showing up on del.icio.us now".

Thanks again Kalyn ;)

I am still a little confused - so if I replace the generic feedburner url and replace it with my feed, won't that make the del.icio.us tag specific to my blog and not the post itself?

Celine, you're inserting your feed url near the post metadata, so it will be specific to each post. I wish I understood this more, but I muddled through it somehow reading the instructions from feedburner. I think if you follow those instructions and make sure you have your feed url *and* it's inserted in the right place, near the end of the post, it should work. At least it worked for me, and I'm not that knowledgeable about html at all.
