(Comments - Blogger) Spam Comments After Using Word Verification

Tonight I got a comment on a recent post that was obviously spam. I was confused because I have selected the anti-spam word verification feature in Blogger and that seemed to be taking care of the spam problem. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I suppose someone could be typing them in by hand, but it doesn't seem likely. (Pretty much a waste of time if they are doing that, but then it would serve them right.)

it's probably being done by hand. I've sen some sites where people actually pay other people (very small amounts obviously) to go out and manually spam blogs with their information.

It's sad, but if it can be spammed spammers will find a way to spam it:-(

I'm stumped because today I just got another one. I double checked to make sure the word verification was turned on and it is.

I am getting a lot of it too. I don't want to make people log in to a Google account just to comment on my blog, but it looks like I will have to. I wish someone would punch these stupid lowlife spammers all in their loser faces!!!!! What are they making, 50 cents a day? I guess that's easier than going outside and getting a job at the local McDonald's for the rest of their lives.
