Christine, The photo upload tool on Blogger kills me! I don't think it's very reliable at all. It might not be that you've hit a limit. It might be that it just doesn't work.
I felt very relieved when I saw previous discussion here in the S'cool that said that the Blogger photo tool often doesn't work.
unless you have well over 3000x 1k images uploaded, I don't think you could have reached a limit. I have that many images loaded, I am kind of prolific in that sense and, touch wood, I havent come across a limitation yet.
Have you tried picassa and hello? It usually works like a charm (I've used it over 3000 times successfully).
Ive been having trouble all week...I just keep trying and trying until it works. Uploading to a blank post, then cutting and posting the html code works sometimes too...good luck!
Thanks to everyone who responded to my very frustrated query. I was finally able to get some of my photos up although not all of them. Sam, I do have Picassa and Hello but can't figure out how to put more than one photo on a post. I know, I'm so tech-challenged I should just be put out of my misery :)
I'm a bit late to this party.. but I cannot agree more. I have used Picasa and Hello and Flickr to upload when I was really sick and tired of blogger but same here, I can't get more than 1 photo up. And I haven't figured out how to make a draft post in these tools either. They all post immediately or is that another of my tech-challenged handicaps? Karen from Bake My Day
I use Picasa/Hello unless it's so wacko that I resort back to Blogger photo upload tool (which I have to admit has improved since they first started it.)
True, as far as I know (and I believe I asked Sam about this over a year ago and she agreed) you can only upload one photo at a time with Hello--and they do post immediately. I created another blogger blog (that isn't listed on my profile) and I upload my photos to that blog. Still one at a time, but I can do three or four one after the other if things are going smoothly. It is actually kind of handy having them all saved individually. I also started adding the date I post them to my blog in the caption along with the description of the photo.
Once I've posted a photo to one of my two regular blogs, I save the photo to DRAFT mode, mainly just because then I don't have hundreds of posted photos on the actual blog.

Hi Christine,
Try deleting your blogger photo cookies and clear your history. This has worked for me in the past.
I was able to upload today, but it was very slow.

A better late than never reply:

Hope this helps (and makes sense).
