Since yesterday, i have not been able to view Ranking Blogs website to check for stats [it's one of those things that i obsessively check everyday :)]. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've noticed their logo keep changing which i positioned at the bottom of my site. Please would you check on your browser the following address http://www.rankingblogs.com/dir/ and let me know if you too can't access it?
While we're on the subject, does anyone know how i can add a photo of my blog on Ranking Blogs? I've noticed some foodbloggers like Sam of Becks and Posh, Kalyn of Kalyn's Kitchen, etc, have a snapshot of each blogs. How can i add one to mine? Does anyone know?

I tried the url on IE and it didn't work. I use StatCounter (www.statcounter.com) and I think it's great, just in case you want to try something different.
Mae, I can't access it from my blog either. The photos of the blogs I think are something that they just grab a screenshot of your blog, at least I know I didn't put it on. You might want to sign up for blogtopsites food and drink, it's something very similar and they've been very reliable:
http://blogtopsites.com/food/
Also, I find that blogtopsites is a good place to find new food blogs.
I think they use the pictures from Alexa.
I am not sure how this all works.
It looks like their having some serious problems.
I'd recommend inserting another code like StatCounter, which is totally invisible to the users. It's always good to have a backup counter.
You can also use your host's stat keeper, though those don't always distinguish between "hits" and "visitors".
Something is definitely wrong with Ranking Blogs. I have their code too, and it screwed up my sidebar - just now when it's not working properly, not before. So I removed the code completely, we'll see if I put it back when and if they're working again. I second both statcounter and blogtopsites.

Julie, Cybele & Anne, I did sign up for statcounter before but forgot my password! But i'm back on it now... and i totally agree - it's wonderful! I normally see my referrers on pixelpost but not as comprehensive as statcounter.
Kalyn, Blog Top Sites - i've tried but somehow, i can't locate my site on it. I don't know why. I gave up - which is not like me at all to give up so easily :) - i'll try and contact them to see what's happened and maybe, i can try again.
