Does anyone know if it's possible to add a FavIcon to a blogger blog? Blogger already have a favicon as default, so I'm thinking it's probably not possible - but it sure would be nice if it worked. (Read more on FavIcons here.)

you would need server access to put an .ico file in the same directory as your html files
Lots of Blogger blogs have favicons, mine included, so am not sure if what Nika says is right. That said, I've had no luck getting the favicon to display, for example, on Bloglines and think that is a function indeed of server access. I hope someone knows otherwise!
I'm not sure how you get Blogger to display a favicon if you don't have server access, but I can tell you, Alanna, how to get Bloglines to display your favicon: just write to them. That's what I did, and they updated my feed so that it would show up there. They were very helpful and fast about it, too. Just look for the contact info on Bloglines.
This page might help with adding the favicon to a blogger-hosted blog.
You don't need to host the icon file on the server, you just need to specify in the reference where the file is located, so as long as you can find somewhere to upload the file, it should be possible.

excellent alternatives.. hope the OP finds a way
Thanks everyone! I'm definitely going to look into it - hosting is not a problem :)
Hi Anne,
I used www.myfavatar.com for my own icon which incidentally doesn't show up on AOL but does if you use Firefox.
It is very easy to set up (if you haven't done so already) and looks quite the business! You just insert a piece of HTML near the top of your Blogger HTML. If I can do it, anyone can!
